A very busy year so far, where I’ve been lucky enough to lead Choruses for major performances of Circa’s Depart at Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and for Left Coast in Blackpool. I’m currently rehearsing with Hull Freedom Chorus for our site-specific performance of Tim Brooks’s new piece SEVEN GAMES in Humber Street Gallery on Saturday 2 September as part of Hull’s brilliant Freedom Festival
I’m also leading the Chorus for a massive project in West Yorkshire, to be specific the Calder Valley, where I’m rehearsing with two choirs, one in Hebden Bridge, and one in Brighouse, as well as with children from three primary schools. All these fantastic singers will form the Chorus for the brand new People’s Opera CALDERLAND, which we’re performing over the final weekend in September. This is part of a major project called Landlines and Watermarks
Sessions are still open to new singers, so if you’re interested find out more here
